Overview

The Anglian Water contract we supplied commenced in AMP5 and continued into AMP6 to provide high security bespoke access cover solution to harden overflow chambers on reservoir sites. The programme of works included survey, design, manufacture, delivery, offloading and guidance during the installation phase. This all had to be coordinated with other product suppliers (kiosks, doors, cages and window bar sets) to reduce the amount of time / risk on site and ultimately deliver a solution within the project programme and budget.
The products had to conform to minimum LPS1175 Issue 7 with LPCB security rating levels of either 3 or 4.

Project Summary

EJ GARRISON™ security covers, upstand and flush fitting types were installed. The package to supply included the hatch covers from EJ the doors, kiosks, cages and window bar sets from Liddle Security products. Installation was achieved by Skanska (@one Alliance) / Liddle and Coffey Construction completed the necessary civils works. This all party early engagement at surveying stage enabled the most cost effective product to be proposed and designed (within the LPS1175 licence scope) to suit each application that not only saved costs on the physical security products but also on the final installation.
