Overview Located on Pollock Avenue in Hamilton, Scotland. Clancy Docwra on behalf of Scottish Water had an exisiting concrete infill cover and frame which had failed causing a huge risk to the safety of the general public. As framework supplier to Scottish Water, they enlisted the help of EJ. Project Summary EJ were able to attend site to survey the existing cover and determine which product would best suit the needs, taking into consideration traffic conditions and sizing. After survey it was decided that our ERMATIC range was the perfect fit for the job, however Scottish Water also wanted to add an additional safety element by fitting a customised fall arrest safety grid to the underside. With our in house bespoke fabrication facility this was no problem, and we were able to manufacture a grid to fit the underside of the ERMATIC product. The ERMATIC modular range is one of the most adaptable product ranges in the industry. The ERMATIC is a comprehensive and highly specified range of access covers for a wide variety of underground services. Tested to EN124 the range is available in loadings from B125 through to F900 and is available in a solid top option and recessed for an infill. We were delighted to be able to support Scottish Water with the survey, manufacture, supply and installation of this quick turnaround project.
