Overview

A new drainage system was required at the lower end of a trailer park, with the project also resembling a minor extension of the existing infrastructure. Initially designed with a different drainage product, the project transitioned to Swarm Aqua® after discussions with the contractor and design team. This change allowed for cost savings through value engineering while maintaining the required functionality and performance.

Project Summary

The original drainage specification was re-Bvaluated, and Swarm Aqua® was approved as a more cost-Bfficient solution. The project team adjusted the design to optimise the drainage runs, resulting in reduced overall costs without compromising the system's effectiveness.

During the initial stages, the contractor faced challenges as they were unfamiliar with the Swarm Aqua® product. These were resolved through collaborative efforts, including on-site visits and installation guidance. By the end of the project, the contractor expressed satisfaction with the product and confirmed plans to use it in future projects.
