Le Problème
Une pluie torrencielle peut surcharger votre système d’égout/de drainage ce qui peut déloger les tampons en place. Ceci crée un risque certain pour la circulation automobile et piétonnière.
La Solution
La solution d’accès STORMSURGE permet à l’eau de s’écouler tout en permettant au tampon de rester attaché afin de se remettre en place facilement après les intempéries. Lors d’une tempête ou d’un refoulement, le tampon peut se soulever jusqu’à 16 degrés, permettant à l’eau de s’écouler et de relâcher la pression. Le bras de verrouillage et la charnière retiennent le tampon et lui permettent de revenir en position assise une fois la surcharge réduite.

The STORMSURGE Access Assembly Operation Demonstration
A major rain event can overload your storm/sewer systems, which can dislodge manhole covers. This creates a hazard for both motorists and pedestrians. The STORMSURGE Access Assembly allows water to flow during a storm surge or backflow event. The cover is capable of lifting up to 16°, enabling water to flow out and relieve the pressure. The locking arm and hinge restrain the cover and allow it to properly seat itself after the event.
