When refitting, rebuilding or building new prisons across the world, and not just the UK, it is of paramount importance that the infrastructure solutions for access to underground services or drainage is built fit for purpose. This means that it must be safe, secure, and easily used by personnel on site to ensure minimal downtime and disruption to the day-to-day business of the facility.

These chambers are designed to be a quick and competitive alternative to brick-built chambers.
Fabricated steel access covers also provide secure access to the chambers below.
Lastly, as a measure of additional security for the prison infrastructure, grids can be added to the top of the chamber that are a safety feature preventing accidental access into the chamber, as well as being able to be locked for additional security.
